How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign uses a series of clear trays (aligners) that are individually designed to gradually move teeth until they are straight.
How long does Invisalign take?
Patients wear the Invisalign trays 22 hours per day, anywhere from 7 to 14 days per tray. Treatment times vary depending on the severity of tooth movement necessary and can only be determined after a consultation with Dr. Horne, but the average patient is finished in 8-12 months.
How much does Invisalign cost?
Invisalign is comparable to traditional braces, and varies depending on the difficulty of your case. Insurance is covered my many dental insurance plans.
Invisalign vs. Braces
Invisalign can help you achieve your goals of healthier, straighter teeth with much less discomfort than traditional braces. They move teeth efficiently, without putting unnecessary stress on the teeth. They are a much more esthetic alternative to metal braces.
